Home/School Links Kit

Our kits are a great tool to enable you to satisfy, in particular, the Home Links criterion of the curriculum.   As one of the most on-trend toys around, kids will absolutely love to take 'Home Time Huggy' on weekend adventures.  Our 15" no-sew kits can easily be created in the class room, and children will really feel a special bond with a friend they made themselves.  Included in the price of our kits is an attractive and durable cotton backpack to help ensure that your kit stays safe and clean away from school.

For just £4, you can add our durable 'Adventure File', which fits snugly into the Huggy Bears Backpack.  The file comes with a disc containing all you need to professionally customise your file for your own school and class.  It also includes a template page for children to detail their adventures, a birth certificate, a Class Register of 'Bear Carers' and lovely paw background pages individual creative use by the children.

Successful Learners
Pupils at school will feel more successful if they feel their parents take an interest in what they do. Your Huggy bear is a non threatening communication tool for children to share with parents what they have done at school through writing and pictures and for them to share where the bear has been when he has gone home.

Confident Individuals/Effective Contributors
Using a bear as a tool for communication means the pupils can talk through the bear if they want to.

Responsible Citizens
Children will have the responsibility for the bear when he goes home with them. This will encourage them to have empathy and a caring attitude to others.

Perhaps your bear visits places in the community with ch and they talk about it after or you take the bear to places that are not practical to take the children to and the bear can be their tour guide.)
